Alyssa Oates

Interior Design Junior Student

I am Alyssa Oates and I am currently a junior in the interior design program here at Oklahoma State University! I am a Wentz research scholar, and I am currently studying how biophilic design elements in classroom settings affect student stress levels and information retention capabilities. I am a student member of several organizations on campus, including ASID, IFMA, USGBC, and others. I will be continuing into the graduate program, and graduating with my Master’s degree in May of 2024.

After graduating, I hope to work at a commercial architecture firm and specialize in educational and hospitality design. I aim to become NCIDQ certified after graduation.
