Emily Henderson

Interior Design Senior Student

My name is Emily Henderson and I am a senior in the Interior Design program at Oklahoma State University. I am passionate about thoughtful, intentional, and evidence-based design. My design perspective includes creating spaces that are dynamic, rooted in research, and improve the human experience. I am also passionate about green, sustainable design.

Designing the world around me as a steward of the environment is the most important aspect of my design thinking. Upon graduation, I plan to begin my career in commercial design at an architecture firm that values the ecological impact of their designs and uses smart, environmentally conscious practices.

My goals for the future include passing the NCIDQ and the LEED exams to obtain my credentials as a sustainable Interior Designer.
