Brianne Pegoraro
Interior Design Senior Student
First, I am grateful to my professors for furthering my passion for design and to my classmates who have become life-long friends. I am passionate about material culture and sustainability in the built environment as they pertain to the natural world and its effects on human behavior and environmental ethics and aesthetics. In connection with my passion for sustainability, I was appointed the president of the U.S. Green Building Council’s student chapter at Oklahoma State University for two years. I want to thank everyone that was involved with the organization. Your activism and volunteer work will have a lasting impact on the Interior Design Program. During the summer and winter of 2018, I interned with Corgan, a commercial design firm, in their Education studio. Then, after interning at Perkins and Will the summer of 2019, I accepted a full-time position with them upon graduation. I will be moving to Dallas, Tx, and join Perkins and Will’s Diversified studio, designing k-12 and higher education, sports, recreation, and entertainment interiors. Go Pokes!
